The Reiki Practitioner

Barbara, a wife and mother of three, has always possessed a deep affinity for angels. Ever since she was a child she could sense their presence and protection in her life. Barbara understands and daily acknowledges the Source of the hope she has in her life as she expresses a deep gratitude for the "Heavenly Helpers" who she believes were sent to assist her.

Barbara believes that her angels played a significant role when she was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer in 2011. Not too long after her diagnoses Barbara experienced severe abdominal pain. While lying in bed she felt an intense rush of warmth from the top of her head down to the tips of her toes! A Still Small Voice instructed Barbara to place her hands upon her abdomen and the following morning the pain was gone! Throughout her chemotherapy and radiation treatments, Barbara experienced very little pain----if any at all, as well as the harsh side effects.

Since then Barbara has learned the Usui method of Reiki and regularly volunteers her "healing hands" at local wellness centers and hospitals. She is also a teacher and offers classes and workshops for anyone wishing to learn how to practice Reiki on themselves or on others.

Today Barbara expresses her deep gratitude for her renewed "lease on life", by offering her God given gift of this gentle healing modality with blessings and love.

"But He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness'. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness, so that Christ's power may rest on me."
